Important Issues

I am extremely concerned over the amount of educational issues being proposed by legislators.  The educational freedom accounts are taking money away from public schools so families can home school or send their kids to private schools. A lot of that is taxpayer money being used for religious schools. What happened to the separation of church and state.

Our county owned institutions are under attack by our conservative County Delegation. They continue to underfund the county nursing home while also trying to pull more revenue out of Gunstock instead of setting future plans for its operation.

I believe that the government does not have
the right to regulate women's health care
decisions

We need to find solutions for managing
mental health and addiction and how it
impacts our community
